Fayard, Daniel R. - October 29, 1960
Daniel Richard Fayard, 82, a resident of Waveland, died at his home on Waveland Avenue Saturday at 7:30 P. M.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Amanda Necaise Fayard of Waveland; six sons-- Daniel Fayard, Jr., Biloxi; Karl Fayard, Youngstown, Ohio; Al'D Fayard, Tampa, Fla.; Jack Fayard, New Orleans; and Herlon and Hiram Fayard, both of Waveland; four sisters, Mrs. Eleanor Johnson, Mrs. Ruth Pattison, and Mrs. Dorothy Rossignol, all of New Orleans, and Miss Jeanette Fayard, Waveland; three half brothers, Peter G. Fayard, Bay St. Louis; Paul Fayard, New Orleans; and John F. Fayard, Waveland; two half sisters, Mrs. Chris Ladner, Waveland, and Mrs. Victoria Henley, New Orleans; 36 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Fayard was also the husband of the late MRS. Elizabeth Krieder Fayard by a former marriage, and was also the father of the late Irvin Fayard.
The funeral service will be held this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the Fahey-Whitfield Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, followed by graveside services in the Fayard Cemetery in Waveland at 4 o'clock. Interment will be in Fayard Cemetery.
