Guidry, Thelma Kurtz - July 17, 1996
Thelma Kurtz Guidry, 77, of Waveland, died Wednesday, July 17, 1996, in Bay St. Louis.
Mrs. Guidry was a native of New Orleans and a longtime resident of Waveland. She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church and a volunteer tutor with Hancock County Adult Literacy Program.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Townsend and Leo Kurtz, and a sister, Margery Kurtz Pereti.
Survivors include her husband, Gillis E. Guidry of waveland; a son, Lawrence Sal Guidry of Metairie; a daughter,Adrianne Guidry Bremer of Waveland, a sister, Shirley Kurtz Chawe of Chalmette, La; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services were conducted Thursday at Riemann Funeral Home Chapel in Bay St. Louis. Burial was in Waveland City Cemetery.
