Burlin Hawkins, 47, of Waveland, died Thursday, Oct 15, 1998, in Waveland.
Mr. Hawkins was employed with CSX Railroad for 15 years and was a member of the Church of the Living God in Waveland.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Hawkins Jr.
Survivors include a daughter, Shantel Hawkins of Gulfport and a stepdaughter, Paula Dedeaux of Pass Christian; a stepson, Chris Dedeaux of Waveland; his mother, Rachel Hawkins of Waveland; five brothers, Gary Hawkins, Leroy Hawkins, Lionel Hawkins and Leo Hawkins, all of Waveland and Charles Hawkins of Westpoint, Miss; six sisters, Carol Bolling, Norita Henry, Cleo Willis, Terri Johnson, all of Waveland, and Carnel Cooper of Gilbert, Ariz, and Zenobia Wright of New Orleans; an uncle, Charlie Hawkins of Waveland; an aunt, Violet Robinson of Metairie, La., and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Little Zion Baptist Church in Waveland, Saturday, Oct 24 , 10-11 a.m. followed by services and burial in Waveland Cemetery.
