Baxter, Roy Jr. - September 9, 1998
Roy Baxter Jr., 81, of Pearlington, died Wednesday, Sept 9, 1998, in Pearlington. He was born April 2, 1917 and was a native of Logtown.
Mr. Baxter was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Bay St. Louis, a World War II veteran in the U. S. Army, and owner-operator of Pearl River Marina in Pearlington.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Baxter Sr.; his mother, Gladys Wlichard Baxter; and a sister, Virbinia Baxter Larroux.
Survivors include his brother, Robert Henry Baxter of Pearlington, and close friend Mittie Zengarling of Bay St. Louis.
Services will be conducted Friday, Sept 11 at noon at Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, where friends may call afater 10 a.m. Burial will be in Logtown Cemetery.
