Kellar, Alton (Dolph)  -  November 5, 1997

Mr. Alton "Dolph" Kellar, 78, of Picayune, Flat Top communnity, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1997, in Flat Top.

A native of Barth, Miss., he was a retired Hancock County supervisor and school board member. He was a member of Santa Rosa Baptist Church and a life member of Moses Cook Masonic Lodge and a member of VFW, DV and American Legion Army Veterans of World War II. He received the Purple Heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lumbia and Lola Kellar; a brother, Albert Kellar and a sister, Vera Carbonette.

Survivors include his wife, Beulah Kellar; two sons, Don Kellar and Tim Kellar; three daughters, Sandra Lee, Becky Johnson and Tammy Vivoni, all of the Flat Top community; a brother, Cecil Kellar; a sister, Irma Frierson, both of Picayune; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today, 6-10 p.m. at McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune. Services will be conducted Friday, Nov 7 at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Nicholson. Burial will be in Turtleskin Cemetery.
