Nielsen, Mary Rose McArthur - November 3, 1953
Mary Rose McArthur Nielsen died November 3, 1953, at 10:10 p.m. at her home on the Old Spanish Trail.
She was the daughter of the late Jim McArthur and the late Laura Ellis. Wife of Niels Peter Nielsen. Mother of Mrs. Gladys Besancon, Mrs. Eddie Favre, Mrs. Edgar Lafrance, Mrs. Earl Fayard, Master Sgt. Joseph Nielsen, USAF, stationed in Bermuda, and Seaman 1st Class Joseph Nielsen, stationed in Japan.
Sister of Tony McArthur and Mrs. Robert Carco of Pass Christian, Wesley and Ora McArthur and Mrs. Alec Cospelich, Bay St. Louis, and Mrs. Henry Favre of New Orleans.
Funeral Services were held this afternoon at 3:45 p.m. from Fahey Funeral Parlors, with religious services at Our Lady of the Gulf Church at 4 p. m. Interment in Cedar Rest Cemetery.
