POST OFFICE BOX 3 12 BAY ST. LOUIS. MISSISSIPPI 39520
September 12, 1994 The Honorable Eddie Favre Mayor, City of Bay St, Louis Bay St. Louis, Mississippi 39520
Dear Eddie*.
I had a brief conversation with Mr. Shelton Seuzeneau a couple of weeks ago concerning renting a building which he owns and which I think would be suitable for temporary quarters for the Anderson Library. It is the building on Railroad Avenue (Blaize Avenue) next door to Beningno's new deli and grocery. It is presently occupied but the tenant is past due on his rent and Mr. Susuneau would like to evict him. I don't know the square footage in the building or if we would need both halves of the structure but I think he would be very negotiable concerning a years lease. He lives in Florida, but I can get his 800 phone number. The location is ideal because it will get people accustomed to coming to the area and moving will be easier when the Railroad Station building is finished.
Also, I spoke to Dan Young and he has an air-condition system which he bought for Casino Magic's temporary building somewhere, that could be connected to the back of the building without elaborate installation. This would be necessary to protect the old books from dampness. Dan will let us use the system for a nominal fee.
Please let me know what you think about this as time is getting short. Mrs. Anderson would like to move by Thanksgiving if?possible.
Thank you
