Be it further enacted* That no commissioner, cleric of an eleotion or peace of leer shall be a candidate far any office created by this act* at any election at which he may act as such* and all votes cast at any election for any such person shall be illegal and shall not be counted,
SEC. 14
Be it further enacted, That any person desiring to contest the election of any person returned as elected to any office in said city under this act nay do so tkn the node now provided by law for the trial of contests as to Justices of the peace.

Be it further enacted* That all places for retailing intoxicating liruors( page 7 of Charter) by the drink in said city shall be close4*and no intoxicating liquors permitted to be s^ld*bartered or Given avray*or drunk at any store* saloon* tavern,restaurant or placo of business there in *fr on twelve o'clock of the preceding until t welve o'clock of the succeeding ni^ht, of any cenerc.l or / special eleotion SEC. 1$
