One significant thing about this photo is the cannon smoke at Flag Raising. Bill Gordon was the BWYC Cannon Man for the occasion. Also in the photo are BWYC Former Commodores, Commodore Beau Gex, current BWYC Flag Officers, Junior Yacht Club Commodore John Santa Cruz Jr., Junior Yacht Club Flag Officers and Junior Yacht Club Board Members all saluting the United States National Ensign upon raising it.
