BILOXI WITH COTTON FARMERS Biloxi, Kiss., Sept. 19, 191*+ —
Today a merchant of Biloxi said he would buy bales of cotton at 10 cents a pound or $50 a bale, following the inauguration of the buy-a-bale of cotton movement of the Commercial Club. He will have it stored as near home as possible, either in Vicksburg or New Orleans.
The movement which was started Thursday, Sept. 17, 191*+> has met with considerable approval in order that the cotton crot) may be disposed of and enable the farmers to tide over the depression caused by the European War.
