After,certain claims listed in the repcJrts of the Commissioners had been confirmed by the Congress of the United States, Orders of Survey were issued and the claims so confirmed were surveyed and field notes of such surveys were returned to the General Land
Office.
A copy of the field notes of the confirmed claims in Hancock Coun ty, Mississippi, is recerded in a volume found in the office 01 the Clerk of the Chancery Court of said County, entitled;
