TO LAY CABI^ TO OUTLYING INLANDS Two carloads of cable are in the Railroad yards in Gulfport find vi11 soon be laid from Gulfport to Chip Inland end the Chandeleur Islands.
The cable will be laid by the Cumberland Telephone Co. and vill bo 25 lA milep long.
The vork of laylnr ontthe route ■'.-.•ill be done in the next few days after which the cable vill be laid and put in operation.
The line will be used in the interest of the Government. (World War One, vas going on)
