The matter of the building of a new court house for Hancock County coming on to be heard, and it appearing that it will be necessary to invite plans and specifications for same, it is ordered that the said matter and consideration of same be deferred until the next meeting of this board, at which meeting the matter of inviting plans and specifications will be taken and fully discussed.

The various plans for the building of a new court house having been submatted to the board, and the said plans having been fully examined and after having fully considered the same, it is ordered that the plans for said court house submitted by Keenan and Weis Architects be and they are hereby selected as the plans for said court house, subject to such change and modifications suggested by the board, and upon the completion of said plans together with the specifications therefor, for which two weeks is allowed, that the same be submitted to a committee consisting of John Henry, Charles Sanger, H. S. Weston and E. H. Hoffmann who are hereby appointed for the purpose of passing upon said plans and specifications and after being so passed upon and accepted by said committee, that the same be submitted to the board at its next meeting for approval and adoption; and it is further ordered that said committee shall have full power to act in the premises and together with said architects make any other necessary changes in said plans etc. subject to the approval of the board.	—
