Instructions to proceed with the manufacture of the Our Lady of the Gulf historical marker have heen sent to Sewah Studios, Marietta,
Ohio. After the marker has been maufactured, It will be sent directly to your office. You can expect shipment in the near future.
After receipt of the historical marker, please contact Mr. Lionel F. Baxter, President, Hancock County Historical Society, Marlon Oaks,
806 South Beach, Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi 39520, as to the exact date and location for the erection of the marker. Mr. Baxter has advised us that dedication ceremonies have been planned for May 9. Finally, we have enclosed a postal card for you to use to notify us of the date when you received the marker and Its condition upon arrival. Upon receipt of this card, we can proceed with payment.
We appreciate your help In the Implementation of the historical marker program.
