NEW ARRANGEMENT	OF THE PONTCHARTRAIN	ROAD
The extension of the Pontchartrain Road has been completed to Poydras Street, and the first trip over the new route will be made on Saturday next.
The trains will b® halt for passengers at the French'Market, the old passenger depot, and at	Claiborne Street.
Children under ten will be	charged ten cents,	and	other
passengers the, usual price of 25 cents for going and returning.
By this arrangement the tiresome ride to Elyxian Fields street before taking the cars is entirely done away with, and passengers journeying lakeward will avoid the changing of cars.
For travelers goins to Alabama It will be a great .convenience.
