Outdoor lovers in Hancock County will be attending a public information meeting to be held on Dec. 8, 7 p.m. to outline the Bartram Trail study currently being done in Mississippi, according to the Bureau of Outdoor Recreation. The meeting will be held in the auditorium of the Mississippi Power Company, Beach Drive, Gulfport.

The Bartram Trail, named for William Bartram, a naturalist-explorer in the 18th ' century, is one of 22 trails studies authorized by the National Trails System Act,
