Thomas died September 30, 1675 in Cambridge Village, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts. He had a twin brother, John. The brothers were first cousins of William Hammond who settled in Watertown, Massachusetts, in 1636.

368	John Livermore: John was bom about 1606 in England. He married Grace Sherman in England, about 1630. John immigrated, April, 1634. Destination: to Watertown, Massachusetts. The ship he sailed on was the "Francis."
John was May 6, 1635. John died April 14, 1684 in Watertown, Massachusetts. He was admitted freeman May 6, 1635; on the list his name is written Leathermore. It is on a list of very early proprietors of Watertown. In 1635 he removed to Wethersfield, Connecticut, with other Watertown people, and in 1638 or 1639 he removed to Quinnipiac, now New Haven, being one of the original settlers, where he was by June 4, 1639. About 1650, he moved back to Watertown where he died.

He resided in Cambridge, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts 1672. He inherited his father's homestead.
John died May 5, 1683 in Cambridge, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts. His body was interred May 8, 1683 in Cambridge, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, Old Cambridge Cemetery. He was known as "Elder John.?

Among his possessions was the noted Raven Tavern, still standing in 1899, and pastureland which is now the Alexandria Road suburb of Gloucester. He was the sheriff of the county and city of Gloucester in 1630.
