Bay St. Louis and Waveland will be a hypenated city, 3ay-waveland. A cith with one mayor, one city government and will operate efficiently and economically.
Before that happens we will have to grow up a bit. Hake a broader view, so to speak. By the year 1990 it is projected the i&y-Waveland population will have increased to 38*000, We are growing. Careful growth.
What's to do in Bay St. Louis? What's to see? Begin at the Court House, then see the "depression mural? at the Post Office, take a long look at St. Stanislaus and St. Augustine with its well landscaped grounds. Go to the library. Boam around the old Cedar riest Cemetery and read the inscriptions. Study the architectural patterns of 3oae of the homes and buildings. Amble through the antique shops. Attend some of the garage sales and flea markets, ^atch some of the fine artists at work. Walk over water. The Bay Bridge is only two miles long. Talk with those fishing from the bridge, match the draw go up for boats to pass through. Feed the gulls. Take a drive out to Joe's 3ayou and talk with anybody you see there. Explore this small city called Bay St. Louis. You?ll be glad you did!
