It is difficult to talk about Bay St. Louis without making mention of its past. Bay St. Louis is really a historical spot first known inhabitants were Choctaw Indians who called the place Chicapoula^/meaning the place of bad grass), "^ater named Bay St. Louis in honor of the Sainted King Louis IX.
