daughter, Alvria, age 6/12. He was living next door to his sister, Loresia, and brother-in-law, Ransom Barton. He is also listed in the Middleburg 1855 and 1865 censuses and he says he was born in Albany Co., NY. In the 1860 census of Middleburgh, he is listed as "Abia Crosby", age 30 (1821); with wife, Kate, age 31; and children: Erskine, male, age 13; Alvira, female 11; John, 8; and Ransom, male, 3. He was living a short distance from his parents and other siblings. In the 187 0 census of same city, he is living with his elderly mother and three children: Alvah 14; Ransom 13; and Wellington Crosby, male, age 9. Abiel has no wife listed that year. In 1880, he is living with his elderly mother and sister, Lorana Crosby. He stated that he was a widower. We found his death certificate at the Town Clerk's Office in Middleburgh, and it said "Abial Crosby died on April 20, 1885 in Middleburgh". His parents listed were "Abijah Crosby and Betsey Crosby". It says he was "64 yrs,
6	months, and 26 days old", or born on September 25, 1820. Children of Abiel Crosby and Catherine "Kate" (maiden name unknown) were:
A.	Erskine Crosby - born 1847 according to the 1850 census.
B.	Alvria Crosby - born 1849 according to the 1850 census.
C.	John Crosby - born 1852 according to the 1860 census.
D.	Ransom Crosby - born 1857 according to the 1860 census.
E.	Wellington Crosby - born 1861 according to the 1870 census. He died on September 19, 1906, at age 40 and is buried in Middleburgh.
II.	Hiram Crosby - born in 1822 as listed on the 1870 census of
Middleburgh, NY. He was age 48 and his wife was Maria Crosby, age 49. There was a 14 year old male in the home called Orlando Pickett. He and his wife are listed in the 1855 census of Middleburg, and he states he was born in "Albany Co." He is listed in the 1860 Census with wife, Maria, and no children.	He is	listed in the	1892 NY State Census as
"Homer Crosby", (census	error)	age 69 (1823)	and living near	his
brother, Charles Crosby. He is listed in the "Book of Graves" of the Huntersland Christian Cemetery in Huntersland, NY showing his grave was "dug" on March 8, 1897 at age 74. His wife, "Mariah Crosby", is buried in the same cemetery, but only her information is on the headstone. He also is listed on his mother's death certificate as the informant on September 2, 1886.
III.	Stephen Clark Crosby - born in	1824 based on	the 1850 census	of
Middleburgh, NY. He is	listed	as Stephen C.	Crosby, age 26;
wife, Charity, age 26; child, Menso, male, 3; and Morgianna, female, age 1. He appears again in the 1860 census as age 36 with wife,
Charity, and children Menzo 13, Morgeanna 6, and Nancy Crosby, age 1.
He is next found in the 1870 Middleburgh census with wife, Charity, and children Menzo, male 23; Althea, female 17; Amanda 13; and Nancy
C.	Crosby, 11. He is listed in the 1880 census with his wife and no children. The Town Clerk's office in Middleburgh, NY has his death
