Louis, MS. I was raised in nearby Waveland, MS and have been a devout Catholic all my life. The hardships of growing up as a child of a broken marriage only made me stronger and helped to mold me into the person that I am today. I graduated from Bay High in 1969 and from Pearl River Jr. College School of Nursing in 1971. I received my Registered Nurse License on July 30, 1971 after passing the state board examination. In high school, I was an honor student, class officer, Homecoming Queen, cheerleader, and participated in basketball, tennis, and various academic and social clubs. While at Pearl River Jr. College, I was a class officer, honor student, homecoming maid, selected for "Who's Who in American Jr. Colleges", and participated in various social and academic activities.
