December 27, 1746 at the Dutch Reformed Church in Schoharie. He enlisted for military service in 1767. He and his wife probably died in or around Schoharie, NY. He had at least seven children.
Maria "Eva" Seibel, wife of Johann Casselman, was born around 1726 at Schoharie, NY to George Seibel and Maria Engel (Hulss) Hilts.
George Seibel was born around 1697 in Ewersbach, Hessen, Germany to Jacob Seibel and Anna Gotha Busch. He first married Maria Engel (Hulss) Hilts around 1723 and had at least eight children. He married second to Anna Maria Reyin on February 12, 1742 at the Schoharie Reformed Church. He lived for a while in Knox, NY and later settled in Schoharie, NY, where he probably died.
Maria Engel (Hulss) Hilts, wife of George Seibel, was the daughter of Christofel Hilts and Eva Catherine (maiden name unknown) and born at Marth, Germany around 17 00. She died in or near Schoharie, NY.
Christofel Hilts was born around 1668 in Marth, Ostertal, Pfalz, Germany.
He had at least two children.
Eva Catherine (maiden name unknown), wife of Christofel Hilts, was born around 1670 in Marth, Germany and died in Schoharie Co. (now Albany Co.), NY.
Jacob Seibel, father of George Seibel, married Anna Gotha Busch on December
6,	1691 in Ewersbach, Hessen, Germany and had at least two children in Germany.

Christian Casselman, father of Johann Casselman, was born on October 3,
1674 at Adelshofen, Donaukreis, Baden, Germany to Hans Frantz Casselman and Margaretha Walter. He married Anna Maria Judith Hirtz on October 10, 1702 at Adelshofen and had at least eight children. Christian died December 13, 1750 at Schoharie, Schoharie Co. (now Albany Co.), NY at age 76. He immigrated from London, England on May 27, 1709 and first landed at Governor's Island, New York City. Christian was naturalized in September 1715 at Kingston, Ulster Co., NY.
He had at least eight children. The first three were born in Adelshofen, the next four at West Camp, NY and the last one, Johann at Schoharie, NY.
