efficient performance of contract — Terms of contract to be cash, and partial payments to be made as the work progresses not to exceed 80% and only upon the order of the board in the manner provided for by law — The board however reserving the right to reject any and all bids.
It appearing to the board that it will be necessary to move the present court house and clerks vault a distance of 76 feet to the East side of the court house lot in order to make room for the building of the proposed new court house, it is therefore ordered by the board that the clerk of this board be directed to give legal notice for the sale of contract for moving the said court house and the clerk's vault to the East side of said court house lot a distance of 76 feet so as to make room for the building of the said new court house and that said building after being so moved is to be set on temporary blockage so as to insure solid and level fllors and that the walls of the building be put back in the same position as they now stand and also that care be taken that all doors and other openings can be opened and closed without interferance but to be put in the same order as they are now used in said building — that said contract be let out to the lowest bidder for cash at the front door of the court house of Hancock County at Bay St. Louis, Mississippi, within legal hours on the first Monday in August next. Contractor to give bond in double the amount of bid accepted for the faithful performance of contract and the order of this board — The board hovever reserving the right to reject any and all bids.
