$24929. and that the bond to be now given by the said The Jett Bros Contracting Co. is hereby fixed at the sum of $24929. conditioned and to be approved as set out in the order of this board made on first day of this term, and that this order be and the same is hereby made as part of the order referred to as aforesaid.

John Henry having applied to this board to be employed to superintend the building of the new court house for Hancock County which building was let out by contract to the Jett Brothers Contracting Co. on August 1 1910, and there being no other applications, and it appearing to the board that said John Henry is a competent and suitable person, it is ordered that he the said Henry be employed as superintendent to superintend the building of said court house upon entering into bond with good sureties in the sum of $500.00 to be approved by the board conditioned for the faithful performance of his duties as superintendent of such work, the said duties being set out in section 363 of the Mississippi Code 1906, and that he be allowed until the next meeting of this board in which to tender said bond for approval; and it is further ordered that the compensation of said superintendent be fixed at two per cent of the costs of the building and to be paid in the same manner and on the same basis as payments are to be made to the architect and the contractor.
